Just want to let you know that we had a fabulous time at Ocean's
Edge. Could easily have stayed longer. It was by far the most lovely
spot in Maya Beach - the house and plantings are so simple and beautiful.
Everything was perfect. Just a note to say that Ocean's Edge was everything we'd hope and
more. Great cottage, great beach - Julio is a gem and a sweetheart
- great people. We had a wonderful, too short vacation. Thanks. We had a fabulous time in Belize. We were overjoyed with Ocean's
Edge. The dock was spectacular. Each morning we would wake up around
6am and have breakfast on the dock. The weather was fantastic (it
only rained at night). ...how wonderful Ocean's Edge was. We thought it was the best
ever and were so glad we stayed there...Bill & Adrianne were
very helpful and everyone we met were top notch... We had a wonderful trip! We did the nocturnal zoo tour on the first
day. I would highly recommend that to other guests. It was a wonderful
experience, that the kids and adults both enjoyed. We went on 2
fabulous boat dive/snorkel trips and one fishing trip. All operators
were great and we really enjoyed the trip and the guides. All the
people we met were wonderful. Bill was great and helped us with
everything we needed.....The new dock was fabulous! We spent lots
of hours fishing, snorkeling, reading and relaxing from there.....
We had a memorable experience and will recommend Belize and Ocean’s
Edge to friends and hope to return ourselves.
The vacation was AWESOME! We loved the beach house and even started
calling it 'home' after a couple of days. Thanks for recommending
the 4WD vehicle. We'll definitely recommend the beach house to friends
interested in a Belize vacation. Thanks for helping us create a
beautiful, memorable vacation. We had a wonderful stay at Ocean's Edge. We enjoyed the beach and
walked down past Singing Sands every day....The house was very clean
and had everything we needed for our stay.We had no problems with
mosquitos or no see ums. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful.
We did not feel uneasy anywhere we traveled to in Belize... All
in all, it was a relaxing, peaceful vacation. Thank you for sharing
your home so others can enjoy it. Everything was great. I would highly recommend your property to
anyone I know that is planning a trip to Belize. Thank you for everything. Your home was very comfortable and what a nice place right on the
beach. Just great. We miss it already.
Ocean's Edge is great….all in all it was a good trip. We would
recommend your place to anybody. It is beautiful.
Thanks so much for everything. Ocean's Edge was fabulous! What
an amazing place the whole area of Placencia is! Amy and I absolutely
loved being there. The cabanas were great, very comfortable, spacious,
and with everything one could ask for as far as amenities go. Renting
a car was certainly the right choice, as it gave us the opportunity
to do a lot more and see a lot more. During our stay we took the
opportunity to drive south to see some mayan ruins, go hiking and
cave exploring. We also spent a day kayaking, which was great. The
water is so clear! We did get out on the bicycles a bit, which was
nice, although the road is a little bit of a workout to ride on!
(We hope that it doesn't change, we would be sad to see Placencia
become just another huge tourist destination with big hotels, shops,
casinos and restaurants.) Another day we went snorkeling with Ray
and got the surprise of having dolphins come play around the boat
on the way back to the shore! Barnacle Bill was also great, and
helped us set up the snorkeling trip, answered questions and was
always around if we needed anything. Thanks again for a great place.
Amy and I will hopefully be able to return in the future and we
recommend Ocean's Edge to many of our friends. It was a sad day leaving Ocean's Edge!....Watching all our pictures,
we decided the day fishing with you and Mike was definitely one
of the highlights of the trip.
We enjoyed our stay at Ocean's Edge very much. We found the house
very comfortably equipped and we liked the location, away from Placencia
itself. We particularly enjoyed the Jaguar Preserve and the Southern
Ruins/Blue Creek Cave. We ate out each night and the restaurants
were very good, especially La Dolce Vita and Turtle Inn. Adriane
and Bill very very helpful and Julio did a very nice job keeping
the beach clean. We enjoyed the kayak out to False Caye and the
snorkeling was excellent there, better than at Laughingbird…..Thank
you for all your assistance. We had a wonderful time in Belize and enjoyed the Placencia area
very much……We enjoyed very much your 2 houses and the
beautiful setting in which they sit…. We found both the location and the accommodations to be truly wonderful.
We enjoyed our time immensely….This was truly the most relaxing
vacation I have ever had and we hope to visit the area again soon
and we'll be sure to recommend Ocean's Edge to our friends. It was absolutely wonderful, even better than I could every imagined….WE
ALL WISH WE WERE STILL THERE…the ocean was beautiful…THE
WHOLE THING WAS AWESOME…. The only problem is that I should have scheduled for 2 weeks instead
of one. I wasn't ready to go home. When Clive, the guide on the
Monkey River tours asked what was our favorite activity in Belize,
I replied, "laying around on the beach in front of our cabins".
For me it was great to have a place with no phones, fax, PC or TV…..We
really enjoyed our trip and look forward to doing it again. Everything was perfect. Bill and Adriane were great hosts and extremely
accommodating….Your place is gorgeous and we are recommending
it to some other family and friends. Maya Beach is melllllllow!...All
good….thanks for everything. We had a lovely time at your place and are showing off the view
to everybody. We loved the grocery truck, Bill, and even saw a manatee
just off shore. We loved the Monkey River tour and snorkeling. Those
were the highlights. We had a wonderful time. The house was great….Bill and Adriane
were great, please thank them for us, they really helped make our
short stay memorable….here is a picture of our approach to
the cave on the cave swimming expedition. We did the tour which
was the Mayan ruins in the morning, lunch and then cave swimming.
That was great. Jason and I had a lovely time in Belize and were happy that we
chose the accommodations we did. Ocean's Edge was both peaceful
and beautiful…. I just wanted to let you know that Aaron & I had the most wonderful
stay at Ocean's Edge. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect
honeymoon! The beach houses and Maya Beach were even more lovely
than we ever imagined. Bill and Adriane were so completely friendly
and helpful in making sure we were comfortable and had everything
we needed, including a snorkeling trip to Laughingbird Caye. We
also had a wonderful Monkey River excursion along with a self guided
tour of the Cockscomb Basin Jaguar Preserve. Placencia was beautiful
and thank goodness we had a car - we went almost every day. As for
the Hummingbird Highway - magnificient. We wish you continued success
with the houses and we look forward to returning to Belize one day.

visit to Placencia and having a car this time was enjoyable. Your
house met our expectations and we would consider staying there again.
Thanks. The trip to Belize was wonderful - it was one of the more interesting
places we have visited with snorkeling the coral being the overall
highlight for us. We found Ocean's Edge house very comfortable and
well equipped. Bill and his wife were very attentive and helpful
in every way and really made us feel completely at home….If
we had a complaint it was that the weather was a bit hotter and
more humid than we were expecting to but that is why we travel -
to experience new things. Hopefully we will be able to visit again
some day. We just wanted to say (again) that we had a wonderful time in Belize
and at Ocean's Edge. Thank you for providing such an ideal retreat….

Just wanted to let you know how much we thoroughly enjoyed your
home in Maya Beach last week. It's beautiful and just what we were
hoping for and more….we also appreciated all of the assistance
and tips we received from Bill and Adriane….Thank you again
for sharing your home with us. We hope to be back before long…. WOW! Your place is truly amazing. Kurt and I had such a wonderful
time. The house was beautiful, the beach was awesome, and it was
very secluded. We are both convinced that Ocean's Edge is the best
place on the peninsula…..it was awesome…thank you so much.
And it was great to have a full kitchen w/cookware and tupperware,
towels, extra sheets, beach towels and everything else that is provided
there. We were very sad to have to leave. You have a great place….Thanks
again for all your help and for working with us for this trip -
it was better than what could have imagined, especially for our
honeymoon.
We thoroughly enjoyed our week at your lovely beach house. It was
the high point of our holiday…..We are already talking about

Our
trip to Belize was great - hot and sunny, plenty of fun things to
do, nice times relaxing at the beach and at the dock, and no bugs.
The house was wonderful - we're so glad we chose to stay in Maya
Beach instead of Placencia.
We
had a wonderful time in Belize. I got to do everything I wanted
to do. It is a great country. I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of
the country. …the snorkeling was fabulous and I really enjoyed
the zoo and the riverboat trip to Lamaani. The pyramids were amazing
and the kayaking was great too…..The beach house was wonderful.
I think we got the best one in all of Placencia! We really enjoyed
it….All in all it was a wonderful trip. Thanks again for all
your generosity. You and your husband are very kind. If I decide
to take another trip to Belize I'll definitely get in touch with
you.
