Located at the northern end of Maya Beach, the narrowest part of the Placencia Peninsula, in the Stann Creek District, Ocean's Edge is approximately 100 miles south of Belize City and 6 miles north of the Placencia Airstrip.

Our beach front property consists of 2 spacious beach houses, the Ara Macao and Blue Tang, and our groundskeeper's house. A wooden sidewalk provides easy access from the road to both houses as well as a view of the beautiful tropical plants on the property.

The houses were constructed in late 2001 using indigenous Belizean materials, Mexican terracotta, local hardwoods, mahogany and wicker furniture. Upstairs is a spacious loft bedroom with a queen size bed overlooking the Caribbean. The main floor has a living area with a futon which can provide an extra bed, comfortable sitting chairs, bathroom with fully tiled walk-in shower, equipped kitchen area, including full sized refrigerator, microwave, coffee maker, toaster and stove/oven should you choose to prepare your own meals. The beach houses are cooled by ceiling fans and the sea breezes. Our self-accommodating houses are equipped with sheets, towels, beach towels and kitchen linens. Added ammenities include housekeeping, or laundry service if required, use of fresh water pool & wireless internet access.

Enjoy the ocean front view from the hammock on your deck, or comfortable deck chairs. If you choose to eat outdoors, we have provided a patio table and chairs on your deck. There is a gas barbq available for your use, long tanning chairs for the beach and beach shower available to rinse off the salt water. Enjoy snorkeling off the beach at False Caye, which is a small mangrove island located just off shore from the property. You can reach False Caye in our 2-seater kayak in approximately 30 minutes. If you would like to explore Maya Beach or beyond, we have bicycles available for your use. A new addition to the property is a 100 foot private dock with a swimming platform

We will stock your fridge for your arrival with fresh fruits, vegetables and beverages if you desire. Beef, pork and chicken can be purchased at the local Maya Point Market. You can purchase fresh produce from local vendors that stop by the property twice a week. Additional food and seafood can be purchased in Placencia Village, approximately 8 miles south on the peninsula. If you prefer restaurants, there are a couple within walking distance of Ocean's Edge, and many more options as you go further south along the peninsula.

Wander into the safe, shallow water off the beach, relax under the shelter of the breezy palm trees, the cooling shade of a palapa or in a hammock on the beach. Ocean's Edge is your perfect secluded tropical paradise!
